‘Monkeys on a Fast’ and ‘The Monkeys and the Capseller’

These two monkey driven tales are among the most popular Karadi Tales titles. How do fat monkeys get thin? Chakrapani the monkey chieftain decides that the only way for his tribe of monkeys to lose weight is by going on a fast. But can hungry monkeys really stop eating for a day? Monkeys on a Fast is a hilarious tale of the trials and tribulations of monkeys who decide to fast.

The Monkeys and the Capseller also features madcap monkey mayhem. When Taklu the bald cap seller has his caps stolen by a band of mischievous monkeys, how does he manage to retrieve them?

‘Monkeys on a Fast’ and ‘The Monkeys and the Capseller’ are children’s stories at their best – brimming with wit and quirky details.

At Karadi Tales, it was observed that the Karadi Tales audiobooks were being used to support language development, both formally and informally. When the people at Karadi Tales started studying this use, they realised that the need for improving language skills was high and Karadi Tales audiobooks were only partially fulfilling it.
